I’m a Paediatric Clinical Nutritionist and the founder of Carter Nutrition. But I didn’t take the straight road here.
I started in retail, burnt out, and knew there had to be something more. A “what career suits you” quiz pointed me toward nutrition — and I haven’t looked back since.
After completing my Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine at ACNT and Bachelor of Complementary Medicine at Endeavour, I found myself drawn to children’s health. In clinic, I fell in love with working with kids and their families — especially those who felt like no one was really listening.
Before starting Carter Nutrition, I worked in child care and saw firsthand the gaps in knowledge, support, and understanding around kids’ health. Everyone was trying their best — but the systems just weren’t set up to offer real solutions. I knew I could help change that.
Today, I work with families across Australia to help kids with eczema, gut issues, anxiety, behavioural struggles, and low immunity — especially when they’ve tried everything else. I bring together clinical testing, food-as-medicine, and realistic, custom plans that actually work in the chaos of family life.
What makes this clinic different? There’s no judgment. No cookie-cutter advice. Just a lot of empathy, proper investigation, and practical help that fits your life — not someone else’s ideal.
And when I’m not in clinic? You’ll usually find me in the garden, chasing sunshine with a coffee in hand, or cooking up something weird and wonderful.
